DOUBLE MASONRY KERF FRAMES

Fortis Doors DOUBLE MASONRY KERF FRAMES profile, designed for 1-3/4″ doors. These frames are versatile and can be removable (KD) or welded, providing options based on project needs.

Both head and jamb KD components feature miter-cut corners, ensuring accurate and strong assembly when assembled in the field. They are sized to accommodate wall thicknesses ranging from 2-5/8″ to 13″ in 1/8″ increments, ensuring applicability in a variety of construction contexts.

The door stops are 5/8″ high and feature an integral groove with foam-filled compression gasket (weatherstripping), which adds an additional layer of fire resistance. Benefits

Drywall weather-stripped frames are an integrally gasketed, one piece hollow metal frame for draft control.
Gaskets installed in the integral kerf pocket significantly reduce air flow between the door and frame.
Independently tested for thermal performance with the Trio-E door U-Factor of (0.38), in accordance with NFRC 102-2014 and ASTM test methods and resistance to air infiltration with the Mercury Door (0.1 cfm sq ft), in accordance with NFRC 400 and ASTM test methods
